The Enterprise Architect User Group event, organised by LieberLieber was held 8th October in Nuremberg. During the meeting several issues were discussed with the speakers and the active audience on the topic of integration problems along the toolchain. The focus of these questions was Enterprise Architect and ALM tools.
Intland Software held a joint presentation with Lufthansa Systems, one of the key users of Intland’s ALM tool codeBeamer. The presentation topic addressed efficient life cycle modelling with Sparx System’s „Enterprise Architect” and provided best practices that could be achieved with the integration with codeBeamer.
During the QA session Lufthansa received several questions from the audience in relation to the use of codeBeamer and Enterprise Architect integration. The questions were answered by Intland’s expert Falko Dautel, related to change request management between codeBeamer and EA and how the change management integration between codeBeamer and EA affects UML models.
In conclusion the speaker emphasised the importance of proper Requirement Management tools and their seamless integration for modelling with Enterprise Architect, – such as that provided by codeBeamer ALM.
